Special events at PEARC17 focus on XDMoD, cybersecurity, U.S.-China collaboration
May 26, 2017
The PEARC17 conference schedule offers several co-located events, including sessions on Open XDMoD and "trustworthy cyberinfrastructure" and an international workshop on U.S.-China collaboration in supercomputing.
The XDMoD Users Group, which hosts one session, focuses on helping to better meet the needs of the user community with its open source tool to facilitate the management of high performance computing resources.
The Center for Trustworthy Scientific Cyberinfrastructure (CTSC) event features a talk covering the principles of cybersecurity and identity management to support scientific research.
The International Workshop on the U.S. and China Collaboration in Experience and Best Practice in Supercomputing is the first in a series. The workshops provide a forum for leaders, technology developers, and resources operators from leading international supercomputing centers to share ideas and experiences in deploying and servicing supercomputing technologies for open science users.
See the schedule for details on these and other events, and be sure to register by May 31.
